I am definetely ready to go find myself a beautiful girl but where do i search?

i would like to go to a gay club/bar but i dont have anyone to go with. should i feel comfortable showing up at a club/bar by myself, let alone a gay club/bar? any hot chicks in college wanting to meet the same wanna go party?
