Gay men are often good looking and attract striaght females, why do Lesbians so rarely have this problem?

My impression of real Lesbians, not the hot bi-chicks from college who pretended to like other girls just for attention or popularity, but the real adult lesbians usually don't look attractive from a traditional male perspective. Why this difference between gay men and women? What if anything does this difference mean or indicate?

You only perceive the flamboyant ones of either sex, believe me, there are more lesbians than those of us who run around looking like an ad for 'Lumberjacks Are Us'. Are you aware of the concept of femme? Femmes blend in with the average straight women and are indistinguishable from them.
Probably ill get too many thumbs down but this is what I think: I am gay, I am convinced gay men are attracted to the , as you said, traditional great man, perfect body, well groomed, white teeth, nice clothes etc etc, and most of us sooner or later end up doing one of those things,,, specially the gym , i am addicted to it because i like muscular bodies, and i wanna have one to have guys attention he he. Lesbians, I think they go by their feelings much more than gay men, they might not care if the chic has a gorgeous body as long as they are romantic etc etc for men that doesn't apply, we tend to go by the looks,,, go to a gym and ull see what im talking about
A lot of lesbians (I'm not going to speak for all) don't wear clothing designed by society to arouse men; low tops, short skirts... Since most lesbians don't rely strictly on sex appeal as a first impression, they wear clothing they feel more comfortable in. And perhaps that's why you don't see men drooling over them?.... This is pure theory.
They are adrogynous. They look like guys, straight guys don't like guys. I got a "chick" at my school that is mistaken for a boy by teachers, administration, even got yelled at for going into the girls bathroom..
are you sure there are no yummy lesbians??? Honestly, I think you're sadly mistaken.... Also, being bisexual I can assure you it is not true that lots of gay men are fit. The best looking guy in agay club was straight all my gay friends and straight girls were lusting after him. hahaha
