How do I make an incubator for duck eggs?
And also, what is a wet-buld thermometor? You are supposed to put one in your incubator. Do you make one? Can someone give me some step by step instructions on making incubators and wet buld thermometors to measure humidity? Oh, and how do you control humidity in an incubator?

- go to the pet store and ask some one there. i raise 5 types of birds and i don't think it's wise to take the eggs from the mother.
- have a read of this. http://www.australianpoultryforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=1977&start=0 You only need a we-bulb thermometre if you are using a wet-bulb.....
- Small commercial incubators start around $40, so I would suggest purchasing one instead of trying to build one from scratch. With incubators, timing is everything - the eggs need to be turned and the heat needs to stay regulated. Most people mist the eggs at regular intervals during incubation to help control humidity. Unless I become an electrician, I would trust a commercial incubator instead of whatever I tried to build. It's alot of work for something to go wrong and either fry or freeze your eggs, isn't it?
