Questions about Goth chicks?

I find this goth babe at college quite hot. She in my honors class, so she must be smart. However, I ve heard/read things about goth girls being loose. Is that true ? Please dont say " Know the girl as an individual". I know each person is different, but stereotypes are 50-70 % true. I m just scared that she might be carrying STD's as most goths are considered to be loose[ Thats what I ve read ]. How should I go about it ? Should I approach her ? Or just be friends with her ? And is that stereotype about goth girls true ?

1. Become friends with her first. I went through a goth phase and the culture is based around music, got into some music that might be considered goth. Start a conversation. Or just nod to her one day in the halls, it could spark a conversation. MAIN POINT>>>>>START A CONVERSATION!
2. ok..sterotypes..are sterotypes. thats like saying "i know this guy in my math class whos african american and i want to ask him out for chinese food but i dont think he will like it cause they only like chicken".. no..you believe what you want. but if you want to date her or whatever. get to know her as a friends first. then if you two start dating or what have you. before you, if you do, have sex tell her you would feel comfortable if you both got tested for any dieases. that would mean you test to. and sterotypes are only true if you really believe them. me sterotypes are just things that soceity drills into your head so you think they are real.
3. Goth is so yesterday.Appearances are very deceiving.
4. the only way you can find out the kind of a person she is,is by talking to her and if you can spending some time with her. don't judge a book by it's cover and stereo typing someone is rude
5. I knew a girl who worked as a stripper and many people think they are all easy. She certainly wasnt. Stereotypes are so often wrong.
