why are so many Goth chicks gay/bi?

1. Because they know how to spice up sex really good.
2. If they are I want to meet them.
3. That's funny, I know a few dozen gothic women, and only one is a lesbian, and none of them are bisexual. And I live in San Francisco! Where are you coming from, and could it be that you can't tell the difference between people who are considered outsiders?
4. Those who feel isolated, different, unique, not tolerated, outcasted...they are those who turn to the goth subculture. The goth subculture is VERY tolerant of people often shunned and outcasted by society. Therefore, many goths are in fact wiccan, gay, bi, lesbian, etc. It is not some strange prerequisite, and you do not have to be one to be the other. Different subcultures embrace different things. Goths are intellectual, artistic, and open. If we are scorned for being dark, why would we outcast someone for being gay? Many political rebels are punks because the punk subculture embraces polictical opinionation and rebellion. Many preps are stuck up because the preppy subculture embodies a "better than you" attitude. Many emo kids are acceptant of cutters because the emo subculture is the epitome of emotional expression and angst. These lead to stereotypes, but can be view in a more open way. Subcultures embrace different things. People go where they feel accepted. It is a natural thing. If a gay person feels as though he or she fits into an alternative subculture better, they will go there. Alternative subcultures tend to be more open. How many pink wearing, perfectly matching, accessorized, bleach blonde, designer shoe/bag/dress owning girls would be just fine with a butch lesbian hanging around? And, MANY MANY MANY Paris Hilton-esque skanky girls play the part of the, "OOOOh, I'm bi for attention! Watch me make out with another girl. Love me for it!" bi/lesbian chick. That's more common than lesbian goths. And...I've found more indie chicks to be lebian than goths...
