How would you go about trying to chat up a goth/emo chick?

They are really hot dont you think ? Do you think i should use the same methods as with any other girl? i have tried talking to them normally but they dont respond well to compliments or talk much. Thanks for all the help. Would flowers help the situation. I am not xenophobic or anything, just not experience with dealing with these types of girls.

12. Well duh just because there emo/goth don't mean there any different from any other girl other than the way they dress
13. Get prepared for a lot of her trying to impress you with how many piercings she has. How many times shes passed out from drinking at gigs. How many times shes told her mum to eff off that day. The ones I have known were all like that and it does get slightly tiring.
14. Like you would any other human being, just because she dresses differently or listens to different music doesn't mean she belongs to a whole different species. Just chat up with her like you would any other girl and see where things lead.

17. they're not really that different to normal girls. they just have different interests. don't try and act different, or in the way that you think they want you to act. thats always embarrassing.

22. my daughter is an emo/punk/rock chick.. she is very individual in her dress sense she has a fab personality and excellent taste in music if i was you i would talk to her about music and what films she likes... you will get better conversation from someone like my daughter than you would a scanky charva who just go around picking on those who aren't into violence and orange make up and silly named coats... a cattle prod is not needed and if i had one i wouldn't be aiming it at my daughter or any of her cool friends.. they are totally normal and i hate the way they are stereo typed into bad people.... i think people should get to know these young unique kids and give them a chance they aren't into causing trouble they like what they like and that is it.. good luck on finding yourself a goth/emo rock chick or whatever other girl you like

24. Well... don't cast them as goth/emo. They are all individual people, however they dress. Be friends with them, find mutual interests, yada yada, same as the classic advice really. They're just people like you and me.
