Chook Me!

How should I cook marinated chicken breasts without a grill?

I already have the rest of the meal planned, just not how I should cook them. Oven? or stove? and for how long? its an electric range... mentioning temperature would be helpful, thanks!

  1. Stove top for sure. Use a little Olive oil and cook the chicken until they are lightly browned on both sides. Best of luck!
  2. Cook in oven about gas mark 4 for about an hour and half, or put on barbie, good luck!
  3. Oven for about 20-30 minutes. Test temp before serving. 350 degrees F.
  4. Bake them on a cookie sheet, uncovered @325 for 1 hour turning once at the halfway point. When do we eat?
  5. The oven for about 30 minutes. top with shredded cheese! Yummy!
  6. Oven or even microwave is great for chicken breasts. Is the marinade used as a sauce as well? Preheat oven to 425. Put chicken in clean pan without marinade but sprayed lightly with Pam or light marg. Check in 15 minutes - if its nicely brown, turn over. Check in another 15. If you are using the marinade as a sauce, reduce the heat to about 350 and add the marinade. Check again after another 15 minutes - watch that your marinade doesn't burn - especially if soya sauce based. If you like slightly sweet, you can put a little marmalade or pepper jelly on the chicken for added taste. If you like more of a roast chicken flavour, sprinkle with chicken or turkey gravy mix powder. Add a little water to the pan if necessary.
  7. You can bake or broil them if you'd like, or cook them in a skillet.
