Dixie Chicks =)?

I'm a fan of the Dixie Chick's music, and I've always wanted to ask this question!: How many replacements have the Dixie Chicks gone thru? My friend said that they have had different singers over time, and there's only 1 or 2 of them that never left?! can someone explain that to me please?! thanks =)

1. I always remember Natalie being the singer and sure she still is. The other 2 are still the same also.
2. Natalie, the lead singer, was not always with the band. The other two girls were with another singer before Natalie. They wore really old-style country clothes. They looked a lot different. Edit- One of the answers said that half these people don't know what they are talking about. The fact is, that answerer doesn't. Natalie definitely was not the first lead singer. The band was not well-known before her. They were completely different--maybe even a different name, but I am not sure about that.

4. Natalie was there one and only replacement. Martie and Emily have been in the group from the start. Hope this helps!
5. They have been together all their life watch their Documentary "Shut up and Sing." They have had no replacements add ons at all. Half of these people above have no idea what they are talking about.
6. 2 of them have always been part of the dixie chicks one of them has not and she is the lead singer... Hope I helped!!
