How many chicken tenders equal to half a chicken breast?

My recipe calls for 6 boneless chicken breast halves. I bought a bag of frozen tenderloins. How many should I use?

  1. I would guess somewhere around 7 to 9.? Just put them side by side and maybe a couple on top till you get the chicken breast look
  2. It takes about 4 to 6 of those little tenderloins to equal a serving. A typical serving of chicken is 5 to 8 ounces. Does this help? Do you have a little scale?
  3. Depending on the size of the tenderloins you purchased. An easy way would be to picture the size of a chicken breast and visualize how many of the ones that you purchased would equal the amount you need.
