how to control humidity in a home made incubator?

we've made a home-made chicken incubator, but we dont realy know how to control humidity... we're using a water bowl at the moment. -thanks- -sylas-

The depth of the water doesnt matter its area your going for.It should have a water basin that covers about half the area of the incubator.Be sure not to let the eggs come in contact with the water.Put a piece of mesh wire over it .Also make sure that your humidity is staying in,you of course need air for oxygen but not too many holes.You can also add damp sponges to increase the humidity,you just have to keep wetting them.
