  1. you can make an orange or lemon glaze with basil and bake them
  2. bake them as the instructions say. when they are done, cube them and serve them IN rice, with mixed vegetables on the side ! wicked easy! dont mind the bones, just toss them when your done, and get the as much meat as you cann .
  3. Mix equal parts Dijon mustard and orange marmalade with a little curry powder and smother them in the glaze. You can also skin them first, if you want them healthy, and the glaze will keep them moist. The sugar in the marmalade will stick, so be sure to oil your pan (or you can cook them on the barbecue, low and slow).
  4. Season legs, arrange in baking pan, top with a can of cream of chicken soup mixed with 3/4 cup of cream. Cover and Bake 350 till done. Saute sweet green, red and orange pepper with 1 small sliced onion. When chicken is almost done, last 15 min, spread pepper mix on top of chicken and bake for 15 min. Serve with mashed potatoes or just a salad.
  5. roast chicken legs with lemon and thyme 4 chicken thighs and 4 drumsticks (2 1/2 pounds total) 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 5 (3- to 4-inch) sprigs fresh thyme 2 garlic cloves, smashed 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 4 (1/4-inch-thick) lemon slices preparation Put oven rack in upper third of oven and preheat oven to 500°F. Toss chicken with oil, thyme sprigs, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl, then transfer to a large (17- by 12-inch) shallow heavy baking pan (1 inch deep). Bake chicken 10 minutes, then add lemon slices to pan. Continue to bake until chicken is golden and cooked through, 15 to 20 minutes more. Serve chicken with lemon slices. Salads are always nice as a side. You can add chopped dill and mango to liven up a spring salad. Throw a couple of potatoes in the microwave for about 7 minutes.
