How do you make the humidity rise in an incubator?

I put a little glass of water in the incubator but the humidity won't stay over 50% Please help.

1. put a container with a larger surface area in.my incubater has a contianer in its base that is about 1/2 the base of the incubater in surface area.I also raised it of the base by placing something thin under the water cantainers base.(tiles but Im guessing you might want something thinner.)a large flat container will work better than a tall thin one.
