I want to know if I'm eating the right amount or if I'm over eating...or eating enough as to not slow down my metabolism. I'm 19 years old, 5'1 (almost 5'2 but not quite) and 103 pounds. I know I'm at a healthy weight but I also know it's hard to avoid weight gain as I get older so I want to know if this is a good way of eating... Ok, for example this was my meals today (and I eat similarly to this almost everyday...I don't know how else to give an example)... breakfast: 3/4 a cup of fruity cheerios (whole grain): 100 calories 1/2 cup of fat free milk: 40 calories lunch: 1 cup of cooked vegetables (cooked in 0 calorie broth): 30 calories 2 chicken wings w/ skin (the bag says 180 calories for 3 oz but I have no idea how much 3 oz would be) 2 boiled baby/mini potatoes (I'm not sure of the calories) w/ no salt or butter or anything. snack: 1 piece of watermelon continued in additional info... dinner 1 peanut butter & jelly sandwich (200 calories for the 2 slices of whole grain bread, 95 calories for the peanut butter and 50 calories for the jelly) Whole grain Wheat thins (120 calories) I'd like to lose a few pounds for summer but I'm ok if I don't I just want to be able to maintain this weight as I get older...
