At what age can i teach the canary chicks how sing?

i just start breeding canaries for the first time and so far i got 3 chicks in one nest and wondering at what age can i teach them how to sing ?( Canary Singing CD + Wild Exotic Birds Singing like finches and others ) Thank you so much.

1. the sooner the better.. if you wait to long they probably wont be interested. =]
2. Mine taught themselves to sing. Its natural to them. They will also repeat their parents alot and later they may call to your CD. play it now. Some say that early is best. The sounds and vocals from their parents are so amazing!!! Be watchful though. If you play the CD and the parents act different of strange, turn it off. They may perceive it to be a threat and treat it as such so watch for any diffentses in their acting like neck stretching high and stop singing maybe a flutter to perch to perch. Be aware that in the wild they protect their young and sing to alert others in their flock of danger so just watch them closely. If they look unstressed out by it them play away. And remember just because they are singing to the CD doesn't mean they like it. Watch body language.
3. they will sing naturally. expose them to repetitive music or bird sounds, animal sounds and they will entertain themselves eventually. good luck
4. Hi, You don't teach a canary to sing they just do it by instinct, and anyway only males sing females can't.
