How to incubate quail eggs?
Can I make an incubator using a brooder lamp (which I already own) and a box or do I really need to buy an incubator?

- i would buy an incubator. my mom used to hatch quail eggs for almost 15 years and always used an incubator.
- EAT THEM
- yes and no .. it would be VERY hard if you are un-experienced . . . you have alot to contend with *correct humidity *correct temp * what would happen in a power cut? * the position of you incubator *have you got the time to manually turn the eggs 3-4 times a day . . your best bet to incubate the quail eggs is either (1) put them under a broody bantam/hen (not too large though cos she'll break the small quail eggs) (2) buy and incubator ... it'll last ages or even "borrow " one . . (3) build it .. like you want too . . you can buy special packs to "make incubators" . . . or look up online . .on a diy version i would show u but i'm in a bit of a rush lol sorry
