  1. DEPENDING ON THE KIND OF SNAKES YOU HAVE--- you can make a box using plywood about 3' x 4' with 3' side on it. add the heating pads to the bottom and cover them with sand or the natural bone/calci-sand about 5 inches but ,leave the pads separated so the snakes can regulate where they want the heat. you can also use stones or flag stones to create a different level effect .(stacked on top of each other like ledges) different elevations for the animals to regulate thier body temp.as well.. cover with a framed screen enclosure and if necessary use a heat lamp above and away from the top of the cage so they dont fry themselves.. snakes and lizards are stupid and the will sit where its hot until they cook ! i have done 3 cages this way with great results for birthing/egg laying.. it also works a reat enclosure if you put glass or plastic sides on it . you can buy an incubator from large suppliers but they aint cheap!! and you have "baby sit" them 24-7... the one i described is more natural. don t disturb the eggs !!!
  2. A commercial incubator from Southern States is affordable. For some ideas on a homemade one, you can load: http://www.youtube.com/ and type in “Homemade Incubator for Snake Eggs.” There should be several options there. Pick the one which suits your needs the best. Good luck with your eggs, and I hope this has been helpful.
