What do you do after your hens baby chicks hatch?

Do you seperate the baby chicks and the hen away from the rest of the chickens or will those chickens be nice to the babys?

1. i don't know but my grandfather had chickens and i think he just left them, but if he did, it could just be because he's lazy =].
2. no.. do not leave them with other chickens.chickens have no manners
3. sepprate the mum and babys the other chickens tend to kill the babys
4. Keep the hen and her chicks separate from the others as they tend to peck and could end up killing the chicks. I don't let mine mix with the older birds until they are about 15 weeks old and then they can fend for them selves.
