How long can I freeze chicken in the refrigerator?

I bought a few chicken breasts (yesterday- saturday) but have not frozen these yet. I plan to cook the chicken on wednesday evening. Can I season/ marinade the chicken inside a ziplock bag and freeze it till wednesday? I plan on baking the chicken.

1. well i think you can, but if you plan to cook it on wednesday you shouldn't freeze it. you should freeze it til tuesday then unthaw it and let it marinate till you cook it on wednesday. that way its still fresh.
2. You could probably freeze it for a week or two months and it wouldn't make too much of a difference!
3. I think that is a good idea, just remember to take them out with plenty of time to thaw. I would suggest Tuesday night.
