How do you make delicious Brazilian casserole with chicken and bread?
A couple of years ago, I went to my daughter's best friends house for a jewelry party. Her Brazilian mother served the most delicious casserole made with shredded chicken and sliced white bread, in layers. It had some kind of sauce, I want to say it's some kind of red sauce but I don't remember too well. She told me the name of it but it's in Portugese. Now they moved out of town and I'm dying to know the recipe! Can someone help? Thanks!

- 4 Boneless Chicken breasts 2 Lg cans cream of mushroom soup 2 Lg cans cream of chicken soup 1 Lg tub of sour cream 1 box of Ritz crackers 1/2 cup melted butter 1 Lg onion Boil chicken breast until done and then dice into cubes. On stove top, mix cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Chop onion and add into mixture. Cook for 5 minutes and then add the chicken. Set aside. Crumble 2 packs of Ritz crackers and put in bottom of casserole dish. Add half of the butter, this will make your bottom crust. Add the above mixture on top of ritz crackers. For top layer, crumble 2 packs of Ritz crackers on top and drizzle remaining butter on top. Cook in oven until Ritz crackers on top are golden brown.( about 30 minutes)
