Chook Me!

What is this called? (Sketch of a building with measurement)?

Its like a detailed sketch of a building or structure with measurements lengths, and it has a bird's eye view, side view, and all that. Im trying to sketch the design of my chicken coop and I don't know what its called Im not so sure its at a blueprint stage yet though, kinda rough

  1. It's not a blueprint, which is an obsolete method of copying drawings. It's a sketch, or detailed sketch. or a preliminary architects drawing. .
  2. Maybe a 3D Model This might help: http://narobo.com/articles/Sketchup.html
  3. The view of the front, side, or rear is called the front, side, or rear elevation. The view from the top is called the plan.
  4. I would call it a typical mechanical view. Plan, Profile and Section in Civil. This is a 2D paper illustration of a 3D object.
