Chook Me!

What fried chicken is better? Church's Chicken, KFC, Popeye's, Albertson's or Louisiana Chicken?

The reason why I'm asking is because I went to Knotts Berry Farm and had the so called "famous chicken" and I hated it. It was bland with no seasoning. I went to a neighborhood restaurant near Knotts called "Po' Folks" restaurant and it was wayyyyy better. What's your opinion?

  1. Church's is dry and lacking flavor. KFC is pretty good, but greasy. Popeye's is just right, with mild and spicy choice of breading. They also have better sides than the other two (except for the slaw). I haven't tried the other two.
  2. Popeyes...much tastier and love the spiciness of their chicken...The mashed potatoes and gravy are also delicious there!
  3. For the chain restauarants... Popeye's is what I would pick. KFC a distant second and Church's is not in the area anymore. BTW... I believe Popeye's and Church's had the same owner, from Louisiana. For supermarket chicken, Albertson's is pretty good for a supermarket chicken.
  4. Never tried any of them, sorry! But it looks like most people like Popeye??
  5. I live two blocks from a KFC and will drive the four miles to go to popeyes. It's that good.
  6. well as far as fast food fried chicken ROY ROGERS hands down. followed by popeyes
  7. For Fast Food Chicken i'd say Popeye's is tastier than anyone else's KFC has been sucking these last years, they use a lot of hormones on their chickens
  8. The best? That would be mine!
  9. Popeyes
