  1. Japaneese Style Chicken Wings---Really Yummy 3 pounds chicken wings 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating 1 cup butter SAUCE 3 tablespoons soy sauce 3 tablespoons water 1 cup white sugar 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste 1 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cut wings in half, dip in egg and coat with flour. Heat butter in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry wings until deep brown. Place in a shallow roasting pan. In a small bowl combine soy sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, garlic powder and salt. Pour over wings. Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, basting wings with sauce often ---------------------------------------------------- Restaurant Style Buffalo Chicken Wings oil for deep frying 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup hot sauce 1 dash ground black pepper 1 dash garlic powder 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt 10 chicken wings DIRECTIONS: Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). The oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep. Combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat and reserve for serving. In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. Place chicken wings in a large nonporous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes. Fry coated wings in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes, or until parts of wings begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, place wings in serving bowl, add hot sauce mixture and stir together. Serve.
  2. If you want quick and easy... I like to buy the "naked wings" at Costco or Sam's and fry them in a Fry Daddy. For the sauce (if I'm in a hurry) I'll use Frank's Original.
  3. Just deep fry the wings and toss them in a mixture of 1/2 melted butter, 1/2 Frank's Red Hot. Pretty traditional and easy.
