Help with my U/G Myr Deck?
Alright, here's the deck list. The questions I have are at the bottom (Type 1.5 format): 4x Ornithoper 4x Phyrexian Walker 4x Myr Servitor 4x Myr Enforcer 2x Myr Incubator 2x Myr Matrix 2x Overrun 4x Fabricate 3x Thirst for Knowledge 4x Silver Myr 4x Copper Myr 2x Cranial Plating 2x Lodestone Myr 4x Tree of Tales 4x Seat of the Synod 4x Darksteel Citadel 10x Island 9x Forest Basic strategy: - Send out cheap blockers on turn 1 and 2 such as Ornathoper and Myr Servitor to block early game rushes. If it's possible, send out Copper and Silver Myrs to build up mana. At any feesable time, Myr Enforcer would be played to allow a much stronger defensive force. - Either top deck a Fabricate or Thirst for Knowledge Fabricate. Then, search for Myr Incubator and play it. Next turn, remove all remaining artifacts (Possibly leaving in Myr Matrix if the other deck is an aggro deck) from my Library and flood the field with Myrs. - The only remaining cards in my Library are Overrun, Fabricate, and Thirst for Knowledge. If I draw Fabricate, I don't do anything. If I draw Thirst, I use it. If I use Overrun, I use it. Now to the questions: - Does Myr Enforcer really fit in the strategy? A 4/4 for 3-4 mana on average is fairly decent, but it doesn't really add anything. - Do I really need Myr Matrix? - I'm interested in a sideboard, but what? I know I need a couple cards to prevent Wrath of God or Rout or any other mass creature destruction from countering my entire strategy, but what? - Any other general comments are welcome. Oops. I mistyped. It was meant to be 6 Islands and 5 Forests (10/9 were going to be my totals). It's a little over 60 in the correct count (64, the 4 Darksteel Citadels are the extras) Secondary edit - I picked Myr Matrix and Incubator to create a game ending flood of 1/1s or 2/2s. I have a feeling I won't get through with a swarm of Myrs otherwise.

- Ok, Your current deck is running 41 creatures/spells and 31 land. That's 72 total cards. You want your deck to run as close to 60 cards as possible. With 60 cards, you would want a maximum of 24 lands, but with other sources for mana, you can get away with even less. I would keep your mana sources at 24, even with the acceleration just because you have a sacrafice source for artifacts you want to use. So if you use 24 lands (your choice of what to keep) you need to cut 5 spell, to get down to 36 spells and be more efficient with what you need to draw. Since you have questions about the Matrix, you might want to consider putting that in your sideboard, as it may be helpful in different scenarios. As much as the Matrix is indestructible, I don't think spending 5 mana for a 1/1 helps that much in mid to late game. I would probably just drop it. I would also get rid of the incubators. It's six mana and gets you an army of 1/1's but it's also six mana. Also, the Phyrexian Walker fits your artifact theme, but not the Myr theme. Stick with the Ornithopter since it does the same thing as the walker, but it also stops flyers as a chump blocker. Since that's 8 spells eliminated, you need to add three spells back at a minimum and look at other options too. I would add in 2 more Cranial Plating and possibly one more overrun. Now since you are running blue, I would look at counterspells for your sideboard. Things that can counter Wrath effects and infest effects since all creatures getting -2/-2 until end of turn can be a pretty good board clearing effect as well. You may also want bounce effects, like Boomerang, to stop a really big monster from your opponent, thus slowing him down as well. If your opponent drops a lot of fat, you might want Evacuation to be in play so that you can return all of his expensive monsters back to his hand and you can drop your army while he drops stuff one monster at a time. With green, you might want some Artifact/Enchantment destruction in case that's what your opponent plays. Naturalize is a good card for that and so is Krosan Grip. Last idea, if your opponent is playing with artifacts as well, you might want to play some enchantments that take control of his permanents. Since you have a sacrafice outlet, nothing seems better than sacraficing your opponents permanents to benefit you. I hope this helped.
- Try to shrink the deck for more speed the biggest deck i made was 64cards.
