Can budgies breed again right after the chicks got out of the nest?
My budgies just had 2 chicks each and are breeding again. Is this allright or should I take the nests out of the cage?

- They will often try to do that when keep indoors as pets. It's not healthy for them to breed that soon after just weaning a clutch though. 2 per year is more than enough for most birds, it takes a TON out of them to lay the eggs, incubate, and then provide the chicks with care and food 24/7. It's by far the most stressful thing a bird can do. (Think of it like a person being pregnant, all that the body goes through, and then getting pregnant immediately after having the baby, obviously the body's going to be worn out, and the second time is going to be rough.) Remove the nests, switch around some stuff in the cage to trip them up and put a halt to their breeding efforts for awhile.
