Same bbq chicken question.... It's boneless chicken, she told me her grandmother made it in a skillet before.
How do make BBQ chicken in a skillet?

- See my answer on your first question about doing this....my grandmother is the one who taught me how to cook....this is good Southern cooking. :)
- then its not BBQ chicken! its skillet chicken with barbecue sauce.
- http://southernfood.about.com/od/skilletchicken/r/bl40621e.htm Great recipe, but the simmer time to about 15 minutes. Brown the boneless chicken first.
- Brown the chicken in the saute pan.....and then add your favorite bbq sauce....and simmer....cut the chicken up into smaller pieces and then put it over noodles....rice.....put on rolls for bbq chicken sandwiches... yummy...
- Fry it up and then add BBQ sauce to it when finished.
- I would cook until almost done then lower my heat...add as much bb'q sauce as you like...coat both sides and let simmer until done. I would warm some extra bb'q sauce to have on the table for extra dipping.
- That would be smothered chicken with BBQ sauce.take a deep skillet with a good lid.Heat the oil on med.til hot.Take and season the chicken then put in pan and slowly cook til brown (with lid on pot)Then pour off any oils and stir chicken good, then add BBQ sauce and continue to cook chicken til sauce is very thick and gooey..that's the way to do it,good and easy..hope this helps.
