Should i get chicken pox vaccine asap even though someone in my house just got it 3 days ago?
I'm 13 and My sister got chicken pox about 3 days ago and I've tried not to be in the same room with her as much as possible.Should i go to the doctors tomorrow to get chicken pox vaccine or will i definitely have it?

According to the site I reacherd you can call the doctors and they might be able to tell you if you have anything.
- A person is contagious 3 to 5 days before they show signs of having chicken pox, so you were exposed long before you even knew your sister was getting it. It takes 10 to 20 days after you're exposed for you to show signs of having it. The vaccine probably wouldn't help you now. In some places the vaccine is required to attend school -- I guess it must not be where you live. Good luck.
