If everyone hates Bush so much why are the Dixie chicks still blacklisted?

The Dixie chicks suffered after their anti-bush statement way back in 2003 against President Bush and the war in Iraq. Now, it seems that most people are against the war and dont like Bush so why dont country music radio stations in the US play their music?

1. Because everyone forgot about them. They are also not stupid, they know what is going on in the world now, they have been on alternative media sources speaking about it. The corporate media never touches real issues, and they would bring them to light.

5. Well, quite simple it doesn't take the backing of Bush to know that they are idiots. Most people can understand that. Btw, everyone doesn't hate Bush, in fact, I only wish he were able to run again. Disagreeing with someone doesn't automatically mean hate.

7. I think the Dixie Chicks divorced them! They held a hearing in then Senate and took the country music stations apart! They colluded not to play their music! I really don't care whether you like it or not! I remember Jackson Browne; Crosby, Stills and Nash and the Buffalo Springfield and some of their music, among others. It isn't their fault that so many people who listen to country are just plain red necks! You know you are a red neck when you don't play someones music because they have an opinion allowed under our constitution. That violates everything America stands for, anmd represents parts of America I wish we could cut out like the cancer they are!!

The Dixie Chicks had a right you know to say what they did say and I never thought that their right to say it had ever gone away.Ole Toby can drive a pick up truck and wear a flag up on his shirt but you know I don't think it'll make him any less a jerk! He's got a right to his opinion but I've got a right to mine and if folks like him can't understand well I'm afraid we're running out of time. Get yourself a flag for your yard ,another one for your car just remember you don't need a flag at all to know just who you are!........ A few lines from a song I wrote when this whole thing started.
