Do you think the Dixie Chicks will play at Obama's Inauguration?

I just watched their documentary "Shut Up And Sing" for the first time... I knew I would like the film, but I must admit that I was a little surprised to see John McCain in it... considering it was filmed in 2005. Did you know that John McCain was at the head of that Senate committee trying to ban the Dixie Chicks from the radio? Why does he hate free speech?

12. I think it would be great if they did. I thought they were treated too harshly for exercising their freedom of speech. Silly Republicans are always claiming their love of America by fighting for our rights, but should anyone actually try to use those rights, uh oh!

15. It would be cool, but since you said inauguration, that means post-election and Obama won, in which case I think Obama would choose not to since it might be divisive in the minds of Republicans. You know that Obama will waste his time trying to reach across the aisle for the first few months, then give up when the Republicans refuse to cooperate. Why bother trying? Hopefully, we'll have 60 Democratic Senators in which case brown-nosing to the thugs won't be necessary.
16. The Dixie Chick are very intelligent & they know they can't be on the road & do what is best for their kids. So I doubt we will see them unless they do a one night stand. ..of course McCain hates free speech these people want to control everything they can.
