- You shouldnt have to. Just add all ingredients and bake according to recipe directions.
- Once you quickly poach your cubed chicken in water or broth, you can add it to this recipe which only takes 35-40 minutes to prepare. - Yes. If you are using chicken breasts, just put some water in a skillet and bring it to a boil. Add the chicken pieces, turn the heat down to a simmer, cover and simmer for 20 minutes - turning after 10 minutes. Then cube the chicken and add it to the casserole. If it's the kind of casserole recipe I think it is - it tells you to layer things and bake for 30-40 minutes in the oven. I would definitely use the cooked chicken but that's so easy to do, as I described. I have a chicken casserole recipe that calls for the cubed cooked chicken. In that recipe you put a layer of steamed broccoli down in your casserole dish, add the cubed cooked chicken, then mix together a can of the cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tsp curry and 1 T of prepared mustard - mix well and pour over the chicken. Then top with shredded cheese and top that with bread crumbs dotted with butter. Bake 350º 35-40 minutes. Your stuffing one will be good too. Hope that helps.
