Is flat-iron heater can be used for homemade incubator for lovebird's eggs?
I have some pairs of lovebirds that lay eggs but they just abandoned it afterwards, when I checked them, its fertile but just needed to be incubate, I put some eggs in the other pairs but the rest can't accomodate. I decided to make an incubator and use flat-iron heater. This came to my mind cause of its automatic feature that stop heating when the set heat is reach. Is my idea Ok. please comment.

- you might have better luck with a light bulb and a box. Your flat iron might get way too hot. try this site http://www.ogpbb.com/accessories/incubators/homemade-incubator.html
- No,the iron will not hold the correct temperature (100F).You will have to feed the birds as they will not eat on their own.
