- This is really for timing in oven. www.cooks.com OVEN - BAKED CHICKEN WINGS 3 lb. chicken wings Salt & pepper to taste 1 c. honey 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 clove garlic (chopped) 2 tbsp. ketchup Cut off small wing tips and discard. Cut remaining wings into 2 parts. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken place in 1 layer in Pyrex dish. Bake 1 hour at 375 degrees or until chicken is cooked and sauce cooked down and coats chicken nice and dark. Turn oven down if sauce burns.
- Here ya go. This is the best recipe I've ever tried. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/good-eats/buffalo-wings-recipe/index.html
- My kids always said my "fried" chicken was better than Col. Sanders!! 350 F oven for about 30 minutes! I crush a box of corn flakes, add a 1/4 cup of seasoned salt, 2 Tablespoons Sage, and shake this up really well in a zip lock bag, about gallon size. Spray the cornflake crumbs with pam or mist the crumbs with any oil in a mist bottle. Shake and mist for about 3 minutes! toss the chicken into the bag and shake. (My version of Shake and Bake!) Lay chicken out on greased cookie sheet with lip all around or use aluminum foil on flat sheet and make a lip that will hold any grease. This gives you crispy like it was fried but is baked. put left over crumb coating in the freezer til the next time you want to do chicken or pork chops.
