A pair of zebra finches has three baby chicks?
& one of them has only one leg. The oldest is 7 days old, the one leg is 6 days old (Hops), and the youngest is 4days old. The other 2 chicks are fine. Will Hops survive & will Hops cope with only one leg outside or will I have to bring Hops inside to live?

- poor bird take it 2 the vet
- It wont make any difference to it..it will adjust and be able to feed. It will find pairing up difficult if its is male bird.As it will grow along side the others I doubt that they will mob it as they would a strange bird with the same problem. Outside with the others will do fine.
- No, Hops will make it. You may want to split the parents of Hops up and bring in "New Blood". It's possible they are too closely related.
