What is a good side item to add to meatballs w/ special sauce & chicken wings that's a hot finger food?
Or a side that want get to messy. You don't want to be at a party and feel like you just had Thanksgiving dinner.

- A veggie/dip platter is great with those, but it's not hot. How about fried Dill Pickles, Zucchini or Mushrooms? ....
- Cut up fresh veggies such as Zucchini, carrots, cucumber, broccoli...maybe have some dip to go along too
- Cole slaw.
- Try this: Cut bacon slices in half, and wrap each around a little smokie sausage. Secure with a toothpick, and place into a greased pan. Sprinkle with about 3/4 cup brown sugar, and bake at 450 for about 20 minutes. These are easily prepared ahead.
- fried vegetables with ranch dip
- When you have chicken wings and meat balls a veggie platter with ranch and blue cheese dips are going to be you best bet. Also a few chips would be good as well. You see the 2 things already have are kind fo heavy so you want that nice crunch and lightness of the veggies to even it out.
- These are the easiest and yummiest appetizers. I get requested to make these at all our parties. Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms 1/2 pound ground pork sausage (I chop mine up in the food processor so it's very fine) 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, stems removed DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350. Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and transfer to a medium bowl. Blend cream cheese with the sausage. Stuff mushroom caps with the cream cheese and sausage mixture. Arrange stuffed mushroom caps on a medium baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes and then put under the broiler for 2 minutes to brown. I add the following to the recipe. I fry up garlic with my sausage and add onion powder to the mixture. I also melt some butter and mix it with seasoned bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese. I then take the mushrooms once filled and dip it into the bread crumbs. They take some prep time, but they are very delicious.
- What about cole slaw?
