Whats a good recipie for my toddler that she will love ?
Last night I cooked a beautiful casserole as she loves gravy's with rice meat and veg.she turned her nose up and was asking for a biscuit so I made her 2 min noddles which she had never had before. She liked it so much asked for more so I thought I would mash in some of the veggies she started crying when I gave it to her because she knew it wasn't the same.I gave her more with out the veggies and she gobbled it up,I dint like her eating food like that I am more than happy to cook but I am running out of ideas.Anyone please.Besides spaghetti chicken schnitzels and fish.shes 20 months paul I really agree with you and i said I would never be one of those parents but she really wont eat it then asks for biscuits and I want some sleep instead of her waking up all night long wanting milk to fill her up because I have done the no dinner then thing. paul I really agree with you and i said I would never be one of those parents but she really wont eat it then asks for biscuits and I want some sleep instead of her waking up all night long wanting milk to fill her up because I have done the no dinner then thing. paul I really agree with you and i said I would never be one of those parents but she really wont eat it then asks for biscuits and I want some sleep instead of her waking up all night long wanting milk to fill her up because I have done the no dinner then thing.

- Kids that age change their tastes every week or so, so don't worry. My grandson would fuss if you cut his peanut butter & jelly sandwiches on a diagonal, instead of just in half; then he'd fuss if you cut it at all a few weeks later! ... Macaroni & cheese is always a favorite of kids - Chicken Nuggets - cheese pizza - all beef Kosher hot dogs - yogurt - quesadillas ... and my grandkids (3 of them under 4-1/3) all love fresh veggies to dip into Ranch dressing, and love Taco Salad
- My son (17 months) loves chicken fried rice ans egg rolls!
- Give her whatever you make for yourself. If she doesn't like it, too bad. She goes hungry. She'll learn to eat what's available and not be a finicky eater. My sister's kids are extremely picky, because she always gave them exactly what they wanted and wouldn't make them try new things. Then, if they didn't eat their dinners, she would let them fill up on dessert. It's really annoying to have them over to dinner, when the kids won't eat half of the things on their plates. They just sit there whining and complaining until my sister gives in and gives them dessert.
- I used to make mini veggie cakes tiny balls of mashed mixed veg with grated cheese dipped in egg and breadcrumbs lightly fried, because it looks different to a bowl of mashed veg it appeals to their desire for different things yet it can be a healthy as you like and has the added bonus that they can eat as finger food (something else they love to do).
- Buy a box of acini de pepe (pasta) It's sort of the old Italian all around baby food. You can cook up a batch of it, drain it and keep it in a plastic container in the fridge. Serve it to her with warm milk and cinnamon sugar for breakfast. Tomato sauce or in chicken soup for lunch, with gravy and meat for dinner! You'll soon start coming up with your own ideas for it.
- Buy a box of wagon wheels macaroni. The baby will be delighted to have these cute little pasta wheels on her plate with sauce or butter. Many years ago I asked my pediatrician what to do about my child'd dislike of vegetables. She asked me if he liked fruit. I said yes. She said not to worry so much about the veggie thing because fruit actually contains more vitamins and nutrients than veggies! I was shocked but glad to say the least! So if your child likes fruit, just replace veggies with fresh cut-up peices of fruit. Throw a couple of safe candy peices on the fruit to give her a little thrill! She may love it. I hope so!
