Poultry farm question. Serious Answers Only, PLEASE?
We are wanting to get into the poultry business. We have talked about starting from scratch, but are thinking that it would be better to start in a business that is already up and going. Anyway, my question is: Does anyone know of any poultry farms (aka:Chicken houses) that are within 75 miles east of Tulsa? Preferably with land and a pre-existing home? I have searched oodles & gobs of websites and I haven't really come up with anything so I thought some one might know of some good areas or even good websites to look at. Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to answer, I really appreciate it!!!!!!!

- I know you only wanted serious answers so I chose not to answer it!
- I ran a quick search on businessesforsale.com, which has a fairly big listing. I looked in the entire Plains area, for all kinds of agricultural businesses. There's about half a dozen listed, but none in poultry. My advise: look for an agent who specializes in selling businesses in your area. Its a bit of a specialized industry, but they're similar to real estate agents in a way. In any case, they'll be more likely to know how to find a business like this than anyone else.
- Search loopnet.com, you might find one there.
