What's the differance?

What's the differance between a forced air incubator and a still air incubator? (Used for poultry)

1. Forced air incubators have a fan that blows air around in the incubator. The fan helps the heat distribute itself evenly over all the eggs. A Still air incubator relies on you to open the incubator door once a day to let fresh air in as there's no fan. Still air incubators hold incubator temperature more stable, but forced air incubators make sure there's a steady supply of fresh air getting to the eggs. Most folks prefer forced air incubators as overall they're easier to care for and they're easier on the eggs in the long run. Most home made incubators are still air and are easier to make.
