I am allergic to dairy, wheat, peanuts, corn and soy. Can I survive solely on fruits, vegetables and fish ?
I am sensitive to beef, poultry and pork products so those aren't great options either... I have also tested positive to allergies of dust mites, mold, dog, cat, grass and trees. I was tested for all other diseases and everything came back negative. Why do I suddenly have so many allergies?

- sry but ur gunna die in a few days jk i couldnt id need gushers!!!!
- Thats sad.. More and more young people are developing Allergies to very ordinary food products and other things like dust mites... Mothers will have to stop being too house proud and house clean. Thats whats causeing these allergies...Well thats what scientists suspect is causeing it.. They should let their children wallow in mud and dirt, It develops their immune systems, and they should stop useing these so called germ killer products in their houses...
- You need to move to a area with Clean Air, I suggest on the coast of North America, Pollution is causing all your allergies
- yes you can. That's how vegetarians do it. Just remember to take vitamins to fill in the vitamins and minerals you're missing. But follow the directions from a doctor
- Unfortunately, this pattern of allergies is becoming more common. Some researchers believe that the rise is cased by an elevation in the level of toxicity in our normal environment. You may need to detoxify by doing a cleanse.
- yeah what you should do is get some vitamins so you can supply all the other stuff you can't eat please helphttp://es.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An4x8iPugGbcL9PwBlLiXoho.gt.;_ylv=3?qid=20080919120359AAbO6oB
- Vegeterians are known to be lacking in Vitamin B-12. <}:-})
- My aunt is allergic to all of those too and she has been doing it for 40 years I think you will be alright try some vegetarian recipes.
- It must suck to be you, sorry but I have never heard of ANYONE who has so many problems with food.
- Because your immune system is weak. Build it up with vitamins, exercise and antioxidants. You have to get some kind of protein into your diet, whether it is through beans or some other means. http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/allergies.html http://www.doctoryourself.com/allergies_2.html http://www.chinesefooddiy.com/article6_allergyrelief.htm
- I see no reason why one could not survive soley on fruits, vegetables and fish. It may get a bit boring. Check into all kinds of recipe sites so you can have some flavor varieties and options. You didn't mention if rice was also one of the items on your 'to-be-avoided' list. Entire civilizations have managed to survive and thrive on little more than rice as a food staple for thousands of years. Since the birth of my first child (1974) I have developed all of the NON-food allergies you mention. Also, seasonal pollens from about 500 different plants/trees/grasses/weeds. These produce hayfever symptoms for me with the added 'treat' of bronchial asthma. In my case, all of the non-food allergens can be treated with prescription and OTC remedies. One can develop sensitivities/allergies to foods and the other things you mentioned at any time in life. And you may never find out what it is that triggers them. Conversely, certain sensitivities/allergies you have developed can lessen over time...even to the extent they seem to longer be present. Especially with relation to food. For about 5 years each in the 1970's/80's/90's I could not eat walnuts/bananas/avacados respectively. The inside of my mouth (tongue/cheeks/both the hard & soft pallets and deep inside the inner ear/ eustacheon tubes) would become sort of raw & tender and ITCH, ITCH, ITCH like CRAZY whenever I would try to eat the offending 'food-of-the-decade'. In each case though, I would periodically try eating small amounts of these items because I so love how good they taste and wanted to eat them again so badly. And in each case, after around the five year mark, I would start to be able to eat each item again with no ill effects. You didn't state if your food allergies result in asthma, anaphylactic shock, hives or other specific symptom(s). My younger sister was born with so many food (and all the other mentioned) allergies, she almost died many times. It took many years to slowly isolate which items she could and could not eat. As time went on she slowly lost the sensitivities/allergies to ALL of the food items. I'm hoping you will have the same outcome for your food sensitivities/allergies as we were able to obtain with time and trial & error. Perhaps your allergist will be able to give you a similar prognosis. This probably wasn't much help, but I feel for ya. Good Luck.
- Get on your internet and research alternatives to wheat, corn and soy....can you bake with potato flour? Can you have rice milk or lactose-free products? Find out.
- Yes, you can. Xpress ---------- http://www.healtholic.com/nut-allergies/index.php
- OMGosh, I think I have found my twin... Yes, you can survive...in fact you will be very healthy eating that! Watch out for food sensitivities though. They mimic true allergies. I found out I can't have seafood, tomatoes, strawberries, passion fruit, many legumes or nuts, or balsamic vinegar. Try adding brown rice or quinoa (keen-waa) for some carbs. Experiment with seasonings. Can you eat eggs? Check labels. Soy is in EVERYTHING. Even in canned tuna. (buy it in spring water at the health food store) Search the internet for soy, corn and wheat allergies to look up the aliases. Be careful in restaurants...cook your food fresh.
