How do you make chicken and rice less watery?

I think I put too much water into this chicken and rice recipe I was making on my skillet. I dont have any rice left so I dont know how to get the food to thicken

  1. Take the lid off for the last 10 or so minutes. Emergency procedure, don't try it out on company, thicken with corn starch, my special emergency fixer upper.
  2. Just spoon some water out if you can and cook a little longer.
  3. add some flour or cornstarch to thicken it
  4. can you drain some of it off [water] and let it cook
  5. There are a few things you can do depending on what you like. You can either add a little corn starch (this will not effect the taste), or you can add a little cheese (parmasean is great for this), or you can add some veggies to soak up the extra water.
  6. mabe u can try pooring less water or do not make so much chikens.. dah... or nott thats all i got..
  7. Break up some spaghetti into small pieces, brown it slightly in a pan with no oil, add it to the rice, and Voila, Rice-a-Roni. The spaghetti will fluff up just like the rice, soaking up the extra water.
