How do you make chicken and rice less watery?
I think I put too much water into this chicken and rice recipe I was making on my skillet. I dont have any rice left so I dont know how to get the food to thicken

- Take the lid off for the last 10 or so minutes. Emergency procedure, don't try it out on company, thicken with corn starch, my special emergency fixer upper.
- Just spoon some water out if you can and cook a little longer.
- add some flour or cornstarch to thicken it
- can you drain some of it off [water] and let it cook
- There are a few things you can do depending on what you like. You can either add a little corn starch (this will not effect the taste), or you can add a little cheese (parmasean is great for this), or you can add some veggies to soak up the extra water.
- mabe u can try pooring less water or do not make so much chikens.. dah... or nott thats all i got..
- Break up some spaghetti into small pieces, brown it slightly in a pan with no oil, add it to the rice, and Voila, Rice-a-Roni. The spaghetti will fluff up just like the rice, soaking up the extra water.
