What type of chicken do buffalo wings come from?

Buffalo wings are so small compared to other types of fryer chicken wings and thighs. Are they just from baby chickens? Or is there a special breed specifically used to make buffalo wings?

3. a normal one. Buffalo refers to buffalo NY where they were first made. It has only to do with the style of how they were cooked.

5. They come from regular chickens.They just look smaller because of the way they are cut.
6. Hmmm....I hadn't noticed that. I use fryer chicken when I make them, but I think the restaurants use roasters because they tend to be meatier....YUMMM!!!
