I found a recipe I'd love to try ... it's as follows: INGREDIENTS 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 1 pound broccoli florets, cooked 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup bread crumbs DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Boil chicken until tender and shred or cut into bite size pieces. Meanwhile, steam broccoli until crisp but tender. In a small bowl mix together the soups and season to taste. Set aside. In a 9x13 inch baking dish layer the chicken, broccoli, soup mixture, and cheese. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top with additional cheese and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. MY QUESTION is ... do you think it would taste okay if I used a broccoli and cauliflower mix in there instead of just broccoli?? I don't eat cauliflower but everyone that is coming from dinner LOVES it. I just wasnt sure if the two shouldnt go together in a casserole or if it would be ok. If I'm using frozen mixed veggies, are you suggesting that I only steam them til they are partially cooked???
