Will this chicken egg incubator work?

OK I took a big cardboard box, and put a heating pad on the bottom of the box. Then I took a old towel and placed over the heating pad. I also took a lamp (its like a big metal one but not the kind you use for reading) and clipped onto the side of the box. Will this work? And yes I put an egg in it for the people with the stupid answers.
