How long do you boil chicken wings on the stovetop?
I am currently boiling chicken wings on the stovetop and I have placed two packets of chicken broth in the water. How long do I boil the wings without worry about catching salmonella or something? LOL The skin is still on the wings.

- I have never boiled chicken wings before... are you going to shred the meat and use it for something or are you making broth. Either way, it shouldn't take very long. Check after 10 minutes of constant boiling.
- once it comes to a boil no more than 15-20 mnutes with the lid on. make sure you have the temp. down low, or it will boil over. if you cook chicken breast the same time applies.
- First you will need to season the wings with black pepper and salt. Add chicken broth to the pot of boiling water . Then add the chicken to the pot of hot water, Make sure you do not burn yourself. Turn heat down to medium heat and place a lid on top, let the chicken cook for 45 to 55 minutes until very tender. The wings should no longer be pink, the wings should be very tender when you insert a fork into one of the wings the meat should easily pull apart from the bone without force.
