I want 1960's biker chick hair. What should I do?

I have shoulder length, wavy brown hair with a side fringe, and some blonde streaks. I would really like to go for something more dramatic. I've been thinking a straight fringe (bangs) would be interesting, and maybe going darker brown. I like to wear clothes that are sort of 'rock chick', and want my hair to be cool, not mumsy (I'm 25 with a 5 month old baby). Any styling advice would really help. I'm booking in for a haircut and style next week. Thanks!!

2. My old man is a old use to be biker, and the biker chicks he went out with, well their hair looked like for better words, crap. Not washed in days, tangled, full of only God knows what. And definately no shine!!! But me being a barber I catch your drift. Just get long layering where you can wash and go and no styling involved. And use a pick for your hair, no brushing except when you go to bed to help the natural oils to flow. Good Luck
