Can I order only 8 chicks during march from Murray McMurray Hatchery?

Hi, im thinking of buying 2 partridge rock hens, 2 black australorps hens, 2 buff orpingtons hens, and 2 Americanas hens. But i don't know if they will ship only 8 chicks during March, and i don't want to pay for extra chicks because my coop isn't big enough so then ill just minus start giving them away anyway. So Help! ohhh and im from WI

1. It is all about warmth. If its really cold where you are then no. Expect some losses with life, and order a couple more. I always get at least one dead chick, when i order online.
2. LMAO.. I'm laughing at myself not you here. I actually looked up the site and called their 800 # the woman I spoke to said they only ship 25 chicks at a time because of the safety of the chicks. This sounds right because my dad used to buy from different hatcheries and they all only shipped full boxes for safety reasons. Because if the box isn't full the chicks get hurt and the size box they use is the smallest any shipper will allow. IE: Post office etc. get together with friends who also have chickens and combine an order.
