- you could wrap it in a warm towel
- Ask a vet for advice, but you need to keep it warm. The problem is that most heat sources won't be regulated, hence the incubator suggestions. You can try your luck with a UV heat lamp available from your local pet store, or a desk lamp, but chances are slim.
- Don't know when the mom died, but it may be too late to incubate that egg. Have you been able to keep it warm since she had it? Your odds are not good, but it's not impossible. I would guess you could keep it warm with something as simple as a light bulb. You want to be careful it's not too hot though. It would be perfect if you had a breeder near by.Other nesting parrots could keep it warm for you. I sure hope that you can come up with something that works!
- turn yourself into a parrot mama and hatch the egg.ha..ha
- look for new female for the dad ,if they are compatible move them into same cage and let them take care of egg
- Unfortunately, you are not going to be able to save the egg, I can pretty much guarantee. The proper temperature, the regular rolling of the egg, and the proper amount of humidity is all required in order for it to hatch. Without both parents or a proper incubator, you will not be able to duplicate all that by yourself. Whatever you do, do not try to follow the advice about getting another parrot and sticking her in there. That is not only irresponsible, it's a dangerous suggestion. If you have had the heat lamp on it, more than likely it has gotten too hot already which would render it non viable. I'm so sorry for the loss of your parrot and I wish there was a way to help you save this egg. Unfortunately, there just isn't.
- I have heard of women hatching eggs by incubating them in their cleavage. But seriously, without an incubator, you'll have very little luck. And even with the incubator... its not a guarantee that you'll hatch the egg.
