Why won't goth chicks talk to me?

Every time I try to approach or talk to a goth chick, I'm usually ignored or given that "are you ok?" look. So what if I don't wear black and go drag with all the makeup? They consider themselves outcasts, but in reality are they not the ones casting others out?

3. I know what you mean, Im female I am for some reason I am drawn to guys on the darker side. Although, i do have my own strange style, i dont even get a second glance from them.
4. Most people that do not talk to you really like you. Try talking to them.
5. Maybe the chicks that you talk to don't deserve you. Most goths are the outcasts because all their goth life, people have shunned them, and that is how they know how to act towards other people. I know that I was never the popular one in school, and that is how I want it to be. I have a close circle of friends, and my boyfriend, and those are the only people that I really talk to. Try talking to other people, don't just try the goths. Branch out. I'm talking to you, aren't I? Ok, this is for the people that always say that goths are freaks, why are they freaks? Because they are different, right? Try talking to one, you'll be surprised. If you aren't too shallow minded. Not all goth chicks are lesbians, either. If anyone is making stereotypes, it isn't me.

8. Why would you want to talk to goth chicks? I was friends with some Gothic chicks in H.S. They are not worth your time. The whole Gothic thing is lame anyway... try the pot-head crowd, they are way more layed back :D I agree tho, not all Goth chicks are freaks and lesbians, its all about the indivduial... maybe those girls are just b***'s, who knows... branch out a bit.

10. People like talking to people they have something in common with. What kind of way are you talking to them? You may sound condescending or ignorant to them. And lastly, they are goth chicks. They are not obligated to talk to you if they don't feel like it, and they know it, and are very likely to act on it. My advice is try brushing up on gothic music or literature so you have some sort of common ground.
11. Attitude is the first thing a gothic girl/guy picks up and you need to talk the talk. dont aproach them with that you are weird and i like that attitude. Remember normal pick up lines dont work in the gothic community and gothic girls are very very self aware and not stupid. Geting some comen grounds in music wil be your best option NO Marilyn Manson is not a goth. Try asking about what new gothic songs have come out ask them what what they think on this or that gothic band (need to no the bands and there best songs). few bans you could look up.
