If my chicken pox turn yellow does that mean that they are infected?

I have had the chicken pox for four days now and some of the blisters are starting to turn yellow does this mean that they are infected? And if so what can i do to cure the infection?

  1. no it is not a infection dont scratch them if they turn very red or ozzie pus ,swell large then it might be a infection which a doctor would be needed then
  2. THey could be infecheted call a health care provider to check it out and tell you for sure. Got this from website-- Call IMMEDIATELY if: Some chickenpox sores look infected (yellow pus, spreading redness, red streaks). Your child develops a speckled, red rash. Your child starts acting very sick. Call within 24 hours if: A scab looks infected (becomes larger or drains pus). Note: Use an antibiotic ointment on these sores until your child is seen by a health care provider. The fever lasts over 4 days. The itching is severe and doesn't respond to treatment. You have other concerns or questions.
  3. No they are not infected they are just soft and within a day or so they will scab over. Never pick at the scab or scratch them off or you will have a permanent scar. That is what a pockmark is so dont do it. You will be fine in about a week.
