Chook Me!

when i use a small electric grill to cook chicken wings...?

if i put a foil 'tent' over the top would it work like oven baking the chicken? my oven is old & smokes me out.

  1. Yeah that works. Just seal up the baking tray with the foil. You sure do love your chicken Jim.
  2. If your chicken is directly on the grill, you might have one side of your wings burning before they are really cooked through. A foil tent won't really hold in enough of the heat to give you the same results as an oven. If you seal the foil tightly you will get the burning that I mentioned. Can you just grill them on the grill? Season or marinate them and then grill them. If your grill has a temperature gauge, you can start them lower to cook through, and then turn it up to brown them up nicely. If not, you can still cook them on it, you would just have to stand there and watch and turn them.
  3. Does your electric grill have a cover? http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=grill++chicken+wings&hl=en&emb=0&aq=f#q=grill++chicken+wings&hl=en&emb=0 .
