recipe for using BBQ'd Chicken wings?
I bbq'd chicken wings today on charcoal grill. they are all seaseoned with a house seasoning, but I thinking about using the leftover and putting them in the slowcooker with broth and root veggies-or maybe celery, carrots, basil and rice with lemon? Any ideas or opinions?

- if you know the mang tomas lechon sauce, get one pour in a pan together with chicken and presto !you have lechon chicken in a pan!
- Chicken wings are very fatty and you're going to end up with a lot of fat if you cook them in a slow cooker! Consider smoked turkey wings or legs instead. For your chicken wings, marinate in Italian Dressing overnight, drain, and roast in the oven. Toss with lemon pepper and kosher salt. Serve with your favorite pasta or potato salad, coleslaw or green salad, and baked beans.
- here you are: BBQ 1 4 chicken breast 4 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 cup good white wine 1 tablespoon dried chili pepper flake, more if desired salt pepper Directions 1Wash chicken breasts and pat dry. 2Pour the wine over the breasts and coat both sides with the wine. 3(You may need to add a bit more wine if necessary) Spice one side of the breasts with the remaining ingredients and then turn them over and spice the other side. 4Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours to marinate- overnight is better. 5Heat your BBQ and cook the chicken until done- don't overcook as the chicken may dry out. BBQ 2 : BUFFALO WINGS 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup louisiana hot sauce 1 dash pepper, Ground 1 dash garlic powder 1/2 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt 10 chicken wings bleu cheese salad dressing celery vegetable oil, for frying Directions 1Combine the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt in a small bowl. 2If the wings are frozen, be sure to defrost and dry them. 3Put the wings into a large bowl and sprinkle the flour mixture over them, coating each wing evenly. 4Put the wings in the refrigerator for 60 to 90 minutes. (This will help the breading to stick to the wings when fried.) 5Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. 6You want just enough oil to cover the wings entirely -- an inch or so deep at least. Combine the butter, hot sauce, ground pepper, and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Heat until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well blended. 7Put all the wings into the hot oil and fry them for 10 to 15 minutes or until some parts of the wings begin to turn dark brown. 8Remove the wings from the oil to a paper towel to drain. 9But don't let them sit too long, because you want to serve the wings hot. Quickly put the wings into a large bowl. 10Add the hot sauce and stir, coating all the wings evenly. 11You could also use a large plastic container with a lid for this. 12Put all the wings inside the container, add the sauce, put on the lid, then shake. Serve with Bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side. 3. KFC BBQ HONEY CHICKEN WINGS Sauce: 1 1/4 cups ketchup 1/3 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup molasses 1/4 cup honey 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon chili powder Wings: 6-8 cups vegetable oil 20 pieces chicken wings 1 egg, beaten 1 cup milk 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 1/2 teaspoons salt 3/4 teaspoon pepper 3/4 teaspoon msg Directions 1Combine the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until ingredients are well-combined and bring to a boil. 2Then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes. 3As sauce is simmering, heat up 6 to 8 cups of oil in a deep fryer set to 350 degrees. 4Combine the beaten egg with the milk in a small bowl. 5In another small bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper and MSG. 6When oil is hot, dip each wing first in the flour mixture, then into the milk and egg mixture, and back into the flour. 7Arrange wings on a plate until each one is breaded. 8Fry the wings in the oil for 9-12 minutes or until light, golden brown. 9If you have a small fryer, you may wish to fry 10 of the wings at a time. Drain on paper towels or a rack. 10When the sauce is done, brush the entire surface of each wing with a light coating of sauce. Serve immediately.
