How long do i grill chicken?
I think I'm losing my memory. Please can you refresh it by telling me how long i should grill my chicken for? By the way I'm doing it in an oven! Shall i cover it as well?

- I'd do 5 mins on each side, medium heat. But if you prong it through thickest part, juices should run clear when cooked
- Grill until it's cooked and the juices run clear when you prick it.
- You can just tell from the look of it but if you are really having a hard time then just make a little slit in the fattest part and look inside for any pink. With the cold weather I use my george forman and it takes maybe 10 minutes, it's much faster than a bbq.
- It depends on how thick the chicken is and on what heat ! The answer is until its cooked.
- Good rule of thumb 10 min per side, a little longer for thick breast. Works for me and nobody has gone to the hospital from eating my chicken.............Yet!
- Don't cover it & broil on middle rack with oven door slightly open for 20-30 minutes on each side. Baste with BBQ sauce, butter & garlic or whatever you like. This is for a whole chicken cut in half. For leg quarters or breasts I'd probably broil them about 10-15 minutes on each side, depending on how big they are.
